Kava Kava

Kava Kava is a plant found in the south eastern islands such as Fiji and surrounding areas. The part used in the powdered root, made into a tea/drink. It is a traditional South Pacific drink and herbal supplement made from the crushed root of the Piper methysticum pepper plant. It contains active compounds called kavalactones that slow down the nervous system, promoting calm, muscle relaxation, and mild stress relief.
