D3 above 52 ng/ml, Iodine, Curcumin (with many cancers) and Progesterone (Diplomat Pharmacy) have all been found valuable in breast health. Note Iodine works best with enough B vitamins, Zinc, selenium and magnesium. Metagenics and Life Extension vitamins carry some good quality vitamins not crap like zinc oxide you can’t absorb much of and call it 100% of what you need when you can’t use much of it at all.
1a.) Vitamin D3 http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/17368188?dopt=Citation serum 25(OH)D to 52 ng/ml, a level associated with REDUCTION by 50% in incidence of breast cancer Me~ so you want D3 level above 52ng/ml.
1b.) http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10668487?dopt=Citation In addition to reduction of incidence and mortality rates from colon cancer, epidemiological data suggest that intake of 800 IU/day of vitamin D may be associated with ENHANCED SURVIVAL RATES among breast cancer cases.
