American Kratom Association

Dear Kratom Advocate,

BACKGROUND:  The FDA is pushing to ban kratom internationally via the World Health Organization and the U.N.. Obviously this would do immeasurable damage to millions of people. Our best way to push back is for thousands of American Kratom protectors to submit formal comments on how kratom helps them.

UPDATE: Thank you to everyone who shared their story via “formal comments”! It looks like there are at least 2500 comments, so a decent start but lots of work to do.

Now the bad news:

THE AKA HAS CONFIRMED THE FDA IS NOT REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ANY COMMENTS TO THE UN EXPERT COMMITTEE — THEY ONLY HAVE TO “CONSIDER” THEM.

Therefore:

The AKA has created new submission portals on our sites

Please submit your comments here

Please submit even if you already entered via Federal Registry. The AKA will provide these copies to the FDA, as well as the W.H.O. and UN Committee as evidence, and ensure the FDA doesn’t edit or omit comments.

The AKA is working hard to prompt as many kratom consumer comments as possible! Your comment, combined with getting others to comment, will make a huge difference.

Why comment here if I already added a comment on the Federal Registry site?

Again, THE AKA HAS CONFIRMED THE FDA IS NOT REQUIRED TO SUBMIT ANY COMMENTS TO THE UN EXPERT COMMITTEE — THEY ONLY HAVE TO “CONSIDER” THEM.

Please Comment and Share: DON’T LET THE FDA SILENCE YOUR VOICE!

Take action today or lose kratom forever!

Sincerely,  Mac HaddowSenior
Fellow on Public Policy
