Let’s Make Sure Kratom Remains Legal

While some in the Kratom industry believe the fight to save Kratom was won, we believe the Kratom industry may be right on a federal level, but that this is not a win without prejudice. The FDA will not take this “loss” and stand idle, so it is imperative that the Kratom community does not discontinue our efforts now, more than ever.  We are already seeing the FDA push for bans on the state level in light of their lack of success federally:

News:  Florida’s Kristin Jacobs (D) to Attempt a Third Try to Ban Kratom.

She has failed twice in the past, lets beat this for good; call Florida legislators and let them know what you think.

A bill was introduced in New York as well by Aileen Gunther (D) to make selling Kratom in New York punishable by a fine.   A ban on any level on Kratom should be fought against.  Call Aileen and other representatives in New York and explain to them why this ban should not be considered.

Help us remind the Kratom community that they should continue to email, call their representatives, and stand up for their rights.  We encourage store owners to continue to get the word out.  Any state ban won by the FDA will cause the FDA to push even harder on state-level bans. We must take a hard stand and not let this happen.

The goal here is create awareness and keep the fight going.  The situation is far in our favor, but let’s not lose focus and find ourselves caught with our pants down.  Many people who are not able to fight for this depend on the rest of us.

We were asked to let people know that there is a petition asking Trump to save Kratom:

http://PetitionTrumpForKratom.org

Please spread the word and let’s show overwhelming support by getting as many signatures as possible.  This petition organized by the American Kratom Association (AKA) will be submitted to the Trump White House on Monday, January 23, 2017.

The deadline for signatures to be added to this petition is 11:59 p.m. EST on January 22, 2017, so act now!

The AKA can always use more donations, as it has been estimated that they may need $2-3 million in 2017 to keep the fight going on their end. The AKA is just one of several groups out there putting up a fight to keep Kratom legal. Show your support by either donating, making phone calls to state representatives, or by sending out letters and emails spreading the word.

LegalHerbalShop has committed to donate a portion of all Kratom product sales in 2017 to the Kratom fight.  Some of the other vendors who offer Kratom products have made similar commitments.

Take a couple minutes out of your day once a week to call your congressmen and senators, or anyone that will listen.  Tell them your story. Remind them how important it is that Kratom remains available to you.

Thank you for your support!
