Media Release: The American Kratom Association Cites Evidence of Trial Attorney Funding of Anti-Kratom Stories Published in the Tampa Bay Times in Demand for Retraction

AKA calls on Tampa Bay Times Editors to (1) Retract and Remove Anti-Kratom Stories, (2) Disclose all Sources and Amounts of Third-Party Funding for the now ethically tainted “Investigation”, and (3) Submit the stories to an independent entity for review.

Tampa Bay Lies: Florida Rally for Truth

On the 19th the AKA joined with Florida advocates outside of the Tampa Bay Times to call for a retraction of their headlines and for the truth to come out. The full stories written by the Tampa Bay Times have many items about labeling and testing that the AKA advocates be enforced; but their headlines are cheap tricks for clicks and minimize the threats of fentanyl and other adulterants in Florida and nationwide.
